Open social science now!

My dream is to make social science more open and accessible to everyone. Besides data collection and code replication, I hope to expand the polisci community and implement its insights in the real world.

Below are some of my attemtps to that end so far:

• VN-Politicians: A deployed dataset of Vietnamese national deputies. To be extended to more tenures.

• llm-research-pipelines: A Github repo of skills/workflows collection for coding agents usage (mostly Claude Code, for now).

  • I wrote a blog post on that in Japanese at Qiita.

• Scalable annotation of latent variables in political science.

  • With the rise of LLMs, we can annotate important variables in political science from unstructured data at scale. I am currently working on a pipeline to quantifiy human rights scores.
